Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Mechanical Cost Manager to lead cost control on large industrial projects. You will manage budgets, forecast costs, and coordinate with client teams to ensure economical delivery.

You will establish cost management procedures, review contractor cost proposals, and drive risk and change management across pre-construction to close-out, with strong Excel and project controls skills. Bilingual Korean and English is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, business, or related field is preferred.
• 15+ years of cost management, project controls, or related experience.
• Experience on large-scale industrial/manufacturing/Korean FDI projects is a plus.
• Strong background in mechanical works and US construction delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management, reporting, and communication for budgets and forecasts.
• Review cost and schedule risk factors and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Establish workflows for cost control, change management, and invoicing.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, change orders, and forecast at completion.
• Support tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor procurement processes.
• Review contractor cost proposals and change order documentation for compliance.
• Prepare periodic dashboards and executive summaries of commercial progress.
• Coordinate with controls, scheduling, procurement, design, and construction teams.
