Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Cost Manager to lead cost management for large industrial projects in Atlanta, GA. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial risks, coordinating with client representatives and internal teams to ensure projects stay within approved costs while meeting quality and schedule targets.

The role requires extensive experience in mechanical construction, cost control, and contract administration, with strong proficiency in Excel and cost-reporting

Qualifications

• 15+ years of cost management, project controls, or related experience.
• Experience with large-scale industrial, manufacturing, or Korean FDI-related projects is preferred.
• Strong background in Mechanical works (HVAC, piping, equipment).
• Proficiency in cost data, estimates, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management, reporting, and communication for budgets and forecasts.
• Review cost proposals, pay applications, and change orders for compliance.
• Coordinate with controls, scheduling, procurement, design, and construction teams.
• Prepare periodic dashboards and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Support value engineering and risk management throughout project lifecycle.
