Qualifications

• Mandatory: High School Diploma or GED or trade school license.
• Journeyman level certificate or equivalent or professional engineer license in a mechanical discipline.
• CFC Universal certification.
• 7+ years of experience in Mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, Building Control Systems, Chillers, Motors, Pumps, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing requirements: HVAC, Building Commissioning, Air/Water Balancing, IAQ sampling, Boiler/Chiller testing.
• Serve as SME for Mechanical; develop scopes of work and coordinate with customers/contractors.
• Review maintenance plans and operating procedures for accuracy; address deficiencies.
• Develop and review design drawings; study and investigate construction contractor submittals.
• Generate RFIs to clarify and correct Mechanical procedures/work.
• Develop Mechanical training programs and mentor field technicians.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and corrective actions.
