OEI (O'Brien Engineering & Architecture) is seeking a full-time Mechanical Controls Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our MEP team in Dallas, TX. You will work on municipal, land development, private, and federal projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

The role requires strong knowledge of building codes and coordination with multiple disciplines, with opportunities to lead design efforts and supervise installations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing mechanical HVAC systems for commercial buildings, health care and federal projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas (or willing to obtain in 12 months).

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical design in MEP projects coordinating with all disciplines and clients.
• Supervise the installation of designed systems and equipment.
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses.
• Attend client meetings and represent mechanical interests of the firm.
• Design mechanical systems, air and water side and related controls.
• Assist in determining project scope and collecting field data.
