Job summary

Welkin Mechanical, a leading mechanical construction contractor, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations, manage workforce and logistics, and ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications include a 4-year engineering-related degree (or equivalent experience), 10+ years in heavy mechanical construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with project contracts. OSHA 30 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy mechanical construction experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities and team coordination.
• Must be safety oriented and able to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force.
• Review and approve payment applications with Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain site logistics/work plans and safety procedures.
• Prepare and submit Daily Reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and engineers.
