Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy mechanical construction experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibits strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Safety oriented with track record of site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site supervision of field labor force.
• Inspect Contractor/Subcontractor operations for contract compliance.
• Review and approve payment applications with Project Manager.
• Maintain relationships with Owner and Architect/Engineer representatives.
• Develop and maintain site logistics, safety, and quality plans with PM.
• Conduct quality inspections and coordinate site testing/inspections.
• Monitor costs, including labor time and materials.
• Prepare daily reports and attend project meetings.
• Supervise project engineers and ensure coordination.
• Ensure activities stay on or ahead of schedule.

4-year degree in Engineering or related field
