Job summary

TrueBuild Partners LLC in Nashville is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate materials, subcontracting, billing, RFIs, change orders, and submittals while partnering with field leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (piping, HVAC, or industrial equipment installation) — mid-level to senior candidates welcome
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC and piping systems preferred
• Familiarity with construction management software (P6 or MS Project) preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects end-to-end, including materials/equipment ordering, subcontract issuance, billing, RFIs, change orders, and submittals
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract scope, general conditions, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and resolve potential issues proactively before they impact schedule or budget
• Support estimating and business development across plan/spec, design-assist, and design-build project types
• Review fabrication shop work packages, including detail drawings, material take-offs, and labor budgets
• Partner with the Safety team to manage jobsite risk and ensure regulatory compliance
