Job summary

Arena Family of Companies in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Project Executive to oversee multiple concurrent commercial MEP projects from preconstruction through closeout. This newly created leadership role supports growth with a backlog of over $100M.

The successful candidate will manage project teams, client relationships, and ensure delivery, margin, and schedule while upholding safety and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial MEP/mechanical construction.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial mechanical projects (ideally $10M+).
• Strong track record in client relationship management and business development.

Responsibilities

• Owns the project management department's performance, accountable for overall health of the portfolio (revenue, margin, schedule, client satisfaction).
• Develops and retains key client relationships with top GC and owner accounts.
• Leads the Project Manager team, supervising Senior PMs and PMs and building bench through coaching and development.
• Partners with preconstruction and operations on pursuits and strategic bids.
• Drives operational standards and continuous improvement of PM processes to improve consistency and protect margin.
• Provides executive level oversight on multiple concurrent commercial MEP projects.
• Owns client relationships at a senior level; primary contact for key accounts.
• Oversees project budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
• Supports business development and growth in the region.
• Ensures quality control, safety standards, and contractual compliance.
