Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. seeks a Construction Coordinator - Mechanical for the Concentrator at the Hermosa Project site in Arizona.

You will lead mechanical construction activities, coordinate contractors, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive efficient execution within schedule and budget. You will provide field leadership, monitor progress, support commissioning and handover, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project milestones while upholding safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing construction on large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience coordinating mechanical contractors and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and construction practices.
• Proficient with BIM and construction management technologies.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of mechanical construction teams.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with standards.
• Verify work meets project specs and codes.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Prepare progress reports for project leadership.
