CPG seeks a Mechanical Commissioning Agent III to lead the commissioning of data center mechanical and electrical systems remotely, with up to 75% travel. Responsibilities include reviewing design packages, developing O&M documentation, performing FAT and First of Kind tests, and ensuring optimal data center operation.

The role requires 5–10 years in engineering, data center/mission critical experience, and hands-on testing of electrical equipment, UPS, and generators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Associates Degree in engineering a plus or comparable experience.
• 5-10 years’ experience in the Engineering Field.
• A/E experience working in complex facilities or mission critical projects a big plus.
• Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience a must.
• Electrical equipment testing experience in a Critical Facilities / facility environment.
• Experience with IEEE/ASHRAE procedures and protocols a plus.
• Possess basic knowledge of systems design for various projects.

Responsabilités

• Manage projects, plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering Commissioning role for large facility projects.
• Conform to quality management/QC processes and procedures.
• Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings; develop SOPs and MOPs; prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports; develop logs and checklists; write reports with recommendations and manuals.
• Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, submittals and documentation related to commissioning.
• Integrate system testing; perform load bank testing; compile testing results.
• Develop and administer functional tests for electrical systems, UPS, generators, etc.
• Lead, schedule and coordinate commissioning meetings; interface with clients, vendors and testing technicians.
• Verify test report results and assist with field troubleshooting as needed.
