Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an experienced professional to lead mechanical commissioning oversight for HVAC, exhaust, and life-safety systems on the SFHP project. You will review scripts, PTCs, test procedures, and installation quality to ensure turnover readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in engineering or related science field with required years of experience.
• Alternatively, currently a Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer at the company.
• Experience with commissioning of HVAC and mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical commissioning oversight for HVAC, exhaust, and life-safety systems.
• Review scripts, PTCs, test procedures, and installation quality against design requirements.
• Coordinate walkdowns, redline drawing validation, and logistics for training and testing.
