Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to lead building commissioning projects. The role focuses on design review, installation verification, and functional testing across MEP systems and controls, including LEED tasks.

Ideal candidates embody strong communication, independent work capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision while collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or Eng. Technology) preferred.
• PE preferred and certifications such as BCxP, CCP, CxA, or CBCP are advantageous.
• Experience leading commissioning projects in healthcare, commercial, public sector, or institutional settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning plans for design review, installation verification, and functional testing.
• Prepare analyses and reports; conduct on-site commissioning activities.
• Perform functional testing of MEP and controls systems and LEED commissioning tasks.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and project teams; support business development activities.
