DARCEO INC. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong Automation focus to design, develop, and implement advanced automation and machine design projects.

The role involves integration with customers' processes, leading design build efforts, and providing validation support. The position requires extensive experience in mechanical design, robotics, and control systems, with collaboration across electrical, software, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on automation systems.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated machinery and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Develop mechanical systems and components with an emphasis on automation.
• Project Support: Work within a project team, schedule adherence, and execution from start-up to qualification.
• System integration: Identify and implement automation systems including mechanical design and control elements.
• Collaboration: Work with electrical engineers, software developers, and production staff to integrate automation solutions.
• Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs to meet goals.
• Project Management: Lead automation projects from concept to deployment within timelines and budgets.
• Leadership: Provide SME Leadership in designated area; may cover product design or robotics integration.
• Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation issues to minimize downtime.
