Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Lead to guide the assembly of manufactured products, ensuring quality and safety. The role focuses on following specifications, leading a team, and maintaining production efficiency on site.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, ability to read blueprints, and a track record of teamwork and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete logs or records.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensures work is performed safely with proper PPE.
• Leads by example through the 5S methodology.
• Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, etc., per directions.
• Reads blueprints or schematics and builds to specifications.
• Uses machines and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Maintains production logs, records, and reports.
