Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join our LV/MV assembly Integration team in Knightdale, NC. This role supports the production of reliable power distribution equipment and requires hands-on mechanical assembly of steel components.

The position offers daytime hours (7:00am - 3:30pm) and an hourly rate of $22.46 for Level III. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with preferred SAP and Salesforce experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
• 3+ years of experience with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated.
• Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
• Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders, including mechanical assembly of steel components.
• Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
• Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking improvements.
• Adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies and be a strong team player.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
