Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III in Knightdale, NC to assemble components and sub-assemblies for LV/MV projects. Candidates should have 3+ years in mechanical assembly and be able to use torque wrenches and measuring tools.

Role requires basic English skills and legal work authorization in the United States. Shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm with an hourly rate of $22.46. Based in Raleigh/Knightdale area with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of torque wrenches and torque values.
• Able to read measuring devices and identify parts.
• Proficient English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Set and use torque wrenches per process.
• Adhere to EHS policies and be a strong team player.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers III for our LV/MV assembly Integration team. This position will be based in Knightdale NC.

Shift Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Hourly Rate:

• Level III: $22.46

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
• 3+ years of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated
• Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values
• Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components
• Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

• Assemble, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders, including mechanical assembly of steel components.
• Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
• Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve.
• Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

The pay range for this position is $22.46 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
