Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Level II at our Knightdale facility in North Carolina. You will build low and medium voltage equipment such as switchgears and switchboards, using hand and power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices, with a 6:00am–2:30pm shift and a pay rate of $20.36 per hour.

Qualifications include 2+ years in mechanical assembly, tool experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. English proficiency and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• 1+ years of experience using hand and power tools (pneumatic/battery).
• Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
• Experience with measuring devices and a tape measure.
• Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies, parts kits, and orders including steel components.
• Read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
• Use torque wrenches correctly and follow processes.
• Adhere to safety policies and work as a strong team member.
