Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering, manufacturing and supply chain partner, seeks a skilled Mechanical Assembler III in Memphis to build and validate complex mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems used in large‑scale cooling and infrastructure solutions. You will join a small team to assemble, install, and verify subassemblies and final builds, with emphasis on quality, safety and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Experience assembling large form‑factor equipment or industrial machinery.
• Experience with copper tubing, valves, fittings, hoses, and fluid handling systems preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems per drawings and specs.
• Install large form‑factor equipment, subassemblies, frames, enclosures, and cooling systems.
• Collaborate in teams of 2–4 technicians for complex builds and final assembly.
• Connect copper tubing, piping systems, valves, fittings, hoses, manifolds, and electrical connections.
• Verify torque, dimensions, alignment, and workmanship; support prototype and NPI builds.
