Job summary

Siemens AG in Wendell, North Carolina is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Level III for the 2nd shift. You will assemble and wire LV MCC breakers, sub-assemblies, and parts kits, following BOMs and wiring instructions. Training on 1st shift may occur before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

The role requires reading blueprints, using torque wrenches, and maintaining safety standards. Preferred SAP experience and familiarity with CNC machines are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Proficient with hand/power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Proficient in English (read, write, speak) with focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders; punch and bend copper on EHRT punch machines as a Mechanical Assembler III.
• Perform sub-assembly tasks including mechanical assembly, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
• Read and follow BOMs, layouts, assembly drawings, and wiring instructions as needed.
• Use tools appropriately, including setting and using torque wrenches accurately.
• Maintain safety standards and follow OH&S policies while seeking ways to improve efficiency.
