Job summary

Roberts Hawaii is seeking a hands-on mechanic helper to ensure safe operation of our vehicle fleet in Hawaii. You will assist seasoned mechanics, perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance, and contribute to accurate work orders and shop cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years as a mechanic helper or related training.
• Ability to read/write simple correspondence and reports.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Type 3 license preferred.
• Own basic hand-tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist other mechanics with repairs.
• Train or supervise junior technicians.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues within ability.
• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Create daily work orders documenting tasks.
• Keep shop organized and clean.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
