Job summary

Roberts Hawaii seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure safe operation of its fleet. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a range of mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and supervising junior staff within a busy repair shop in Honolulu.

You will generate daily work orders and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. Ideal candidates hold five ASE certificates or Hawaii license, own their tools, and can work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) ASE certificates or Hawaii State Mechanic License
• Must have Type 3 License with a valid traffic abstract
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical discrepancies on Roberts’ vehicles
• Train and supervise underclass technicians (e.g Mechanic Tech II, Mechanic Helper)
• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate job assignments based on technical abilities
• Generate written work orders daily to track tasks and accomplishments
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Perform other related duties as assigned
