Job summary

Roberts Hawaii is seeking a vehicle maintenance assistant to help ensure the safe working condition of our fleet. You will support senior mechanics, perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance, and generate daily work orders while maintaining a clean, efficient shop environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years as a mechanic helper or related training, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to write simple correspondence and basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist 1st and 2nd class mechanics with repairs.
• Train underclass technician (mechanic helper).
• Diagnose and correct mechanical discrepancies within ability.
• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Generate written work orders daily for tasks performed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
