Sunbelt Rentals—the leading equipment rental provider in North America—seeks an experienced Mechanic. You will perform preventive maintenance, run diagnostics, and repair equipment across a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and more.

The role emphasizes safety and efficiency on a fast-paced job site. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–5 years of mechanic experience preferred; trade training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desirable.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to equipment.
• Operate repairs in the safest, most effective way to minimize downtime.
• Work with a team in a safety-focused environment.
