Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet at our on-site locations in the United States. The role offers growth within a safety-focused team and exposure to aerial work platforms, diesel generators, pumps, HVAC, and other equipment.

We value hands-on experience, a high school diploma or GED, and 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment. Benefits are provided to full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient way.
• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment as part of a safety-focused team.
• Contribute to developing skills for a career track in service or operation management.
