Job summary

Enbridge Inc. in St. Francisville, LA is seeking a Mechanic III to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of station systems including air, fuel, cooling, gas compression, and prime mover equipment.

You will inspect, report, and document maintenance, supervise others as needed, and adhere to SOPs and PHMSA/EPA regulations. Requires high school diploma, five years of relevant experience, valid driver’s license, physical stamina, and willingness to overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required.
• Residency within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper operation, compliance, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of station systems (air, air dryer, fuel, cooling, gas compression, prime mover and related equipment) to maintain gas delivery.
• Recognize and react to abnormal conditions associated with duties.
• Complete paperwork and report related to station equipment maintenance accurately and completely.
• Direct, as required, other employees in performance of station equipment maintenance duties.
• Work safely and participate in safety-related programs; maintain cooperative relationships with team members.
• Perform duties in accordance with SOPs and O&M manuals and comply with PHMSA/EPA regulations.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
