Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks a Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair gas compressor station systems, including air and fuel systems, cooling, and prime movers. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Candidate must have a high school diploma, 5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime and travel. Relocation within 30 miles may be required; strong safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all weather conditions.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required.
• resides within 30 miles of the reporting location or relocate accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation, compliance, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of station systems (air, fuel, cooling, gas compression, prime mover, etc.).
• Recognize and react to abnormal conditions.
• Complete paperwork and report related to station equipment maintenance accurately.
• Direct other employees in performance of station equipment maintenance duties.
• Work safely and participate in safety programs.
• Collaborate with team and maintain cooperative work relationships.
• Follow SOPs and O&M manuals and comply with external regulatory bodies.
