Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Louisiana. You will maintain and repair station systems, respond to abnormal conditions, and ensure compliant operation daily. Residency within 30 miles and willingness to travel overnight are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all weather.
• Will be able to work overtime, weekends, shift, on-call and travel overnight.
• Residency within 30 miles of the reporting location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of station systems including air, fuel, cooling, gas compression, and prime mover.
• Recognize and react to abnormal conditions.
• Complete paperwork and reports related to station equipment maintenance.
• Direct other employees in station maintenance tasks when required.
• Work safely and participate in safety programs.
• Collaborate as a work-group team member and maintain cooperative relationships.
• Perform duties in compliance with SOPs, O&M manuals, PHMSA/EPA requirements.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
