Job summary

Walmart/Sam's Club in Norman, OK seeks a Senior Meat Cutter to lead meat preparation and customer-focused service. You will cut, slice, grind and wrap meat products per specifications while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency in a high-volume backroom.

You will use handheld tech to support sales, educate teammates, and uphold sanitation, labeling and proper storage across departments. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools and tasks.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment and backroom operations.
• Process meat to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) while ensuring food safety.
• Leverage handheld technology to drive sales and support training and product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, labeling, packaging and proper storage in a high-volume meat area.
• Support inventory accuracy and reduce waste by following policies and procedures.
