Colonial Group is seeking a Meat Cutter for our Saint Petersburg store to maintain top meat department standards, drive sales and ensure product quality from delivery to case.

You will trim, cut and prepare standard cuts, wrap and label products, manage displays, and assist with product ordering while upholding food safety and sanitation policies. Must be 18+, able to lift 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with knives and meat-cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to read English and perform basic math.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Cut and package authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to company policies.
• Wrap, weigh and price cuts based on guidelines.
• Label packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards.
• Ensure displays and case signs are updated and meat is merchandised to maximize sales.
• Assist with product ordering and maintain cold chain during storage and display.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards daily.
