Job summary

Sam's Club in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to drive sales and deliver quality meat products to members. You will work with fellow associates to ensure high standards of service, product quality, and inventory integrity.

You will cut, slice, grind and wrap meat to specifications, stay compliant with food safety guidelines, and use handheld tools to optimize operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and customer focus with a focus on profitability and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Meat Processing Area (preferred qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Maintain in-stock levels and manage shrinkage while assisting customers.
• Process meat according to specifications: cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and storage meet standards.
• Maintain sanitation and operate equipment safely.
• Support training and development of other team members.
