Job description

This is a full-time position. The primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create An Incredible Place To Work and Shop. Responsibilities include efficiently cutting and processing a variety of meat products to maximize yield and gross profit according to Meat Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Regularly lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and reaching from 6-72 inches. Frequently lifting/moving up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically cool (34-36°F), wet, humid, and involves moving mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and extreme cold is frequent. Noise levels are moderate to loud.
