Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate others on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and manage inventory and equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions, training, and quality control, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products. Train and mentor associates, understand and address roadblocks, and foster a culture of high performance.
• Compliance & Work Management: Follow company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.
