Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure product quality, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service. Train and support associates in job duties.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and participate in ongoing training and improvement initiatives.
