Job summary

Timken seeks an experienced Senior MDM Analyst specializing in Data Quality and Governance to measure, improve, and maintain enterprise master data. You will design automated quality rules, perform profiling, and enforce governance policies using Informatica tools.

The role requires partnering with business users to translate requirements into technical rules, building data quality dashboards, and supporting metadata lineage across MDM and CDGC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or IT with 4+ years in Master Data Management.
• Master's degree in related field preferred with 2+ years in MDM.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and deploy automated data quality rules and parsing routines using Informatica.
• Partner with cross-functional business users to translate requirements into data quality rules.
• Create and maintain data quality rules, profiling jobs, cleansing routines, and dashboards.
• Configure and optimize matching, merging, and survivorship rules within Informatica MDM to build golden records.
• Execute large-scale data cleansing and enrichment projects to remediate issues.
• Implement Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog components: metadata harvesting, glossary, policy enforcement, lineage, discovery.
• Create and maintain data models, source-to-target mappings, and integration patterns between MDM and CDGC.
• Build and analyze end-to-end data lineage and metadata catalogs for transparency and compliance.
• Assist in developing and improving the enterprise data governance framework.
• Provide training and documentation on governance processes and data quality metrics.
• Enforce data management policies across systems and map data elements to business terms.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, data owners, and downstream teams to define mappings and workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Produce technical docs, runbooks, data lineage, and knowledge transfer materials.
