Job Title: Sr. MDM Data Analyst (Contract) - Job#5460

Location: NYC hybrid preferred, open to remote

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting short- and long-term data management and strategic business activities through the analysis of data.
• Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis for projects as well as ongoing data quality initiatives.
• Experience in creating datasets from a variety of disparate sources to further data management initiatives and processes.
• Demonstrated ability in performing data mining on large datasets to supplement data management quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience consulting with business stakeholders to document business requirements to support client needs.
• Experience presenting reports with analysis and interpretation for business review and planning.
• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases and database structures, with proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL preferred.
• Develop and recommend business solutions through research and analysis of data.
• Use creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes and create new ones in accordance with data governance best practices.
• Experience with implementing Data Management lifecycle toolsets.
• Experience with implementing master data and/or reference data programs or toolsets.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) for data governance, data quality, and master data initiatives.
• Experience with data quality and cataloging using Informatica as a tool.
• Practical experience working with multiple project management methodologies, including at least one of the following: Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, SAFe.
• Experience working with project management organizational or visualization tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud data tools preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or R preferred.
• Ability to work with the business and assist in training teams on data usage and documenting governance policies, with guidance and coaching from leadership.

Qualifications:

• At least four years of experience as a data analyst on a data management or data governance initiative.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related field.

This role requires a data-driven individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in data governance and master data management, particularly with Informatica MDM. The ideal candidate will bring experience in handling large datasets, data quality initiatives, and working closely with business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
