Qualifications

• Strong background in macroeconomics with research and statistics focus.
• Ability to generate original analyses on cyclical and structural US economy.
• Experience leading data-driven forecasting and scenario analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's US data forecasting, real-time data filtering / analysis, and nowcasting.
• Provide thought-leadership on emerging macro themes and data-driven foundations for macro call.
• Collaborate on constructing US macro forecast and scenario analysis.
• Lead a generational upgrade of models, incorporating AI tools and new datasets.
• Develop a technical-leadership identity within US economics and forecasting methods.
• Mentor junior team members on data work and modelling.
• Engage with clients, present on calls, webinars, and events; respond to requests.
• Translate analysis into decision-useful insights for investors and policymakers.
• Contribute to frameworks for inflation, labor markets, productivity, fiscal dynamics, policy transmission.
