Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a Senior Network/Communications Engineer to provide senior leadership for enterprise wireless, voice, and data modernization in support of MCEN-N. The role leads design, configuration, and EFIST execution across six MC installations with a focus on secure, mission-ready converged voice, video, and data services.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10+ years experience in telecommunications and networking.
• 3 to 10+ years experience delivering solutions to government clients.
• Bachelors degree in a technology related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead verification site surveys at government installations to establish baselines and validate requirements.
• Serve as senior technical lead for EFIST execution of wireless, routed, switched, and voice infra.
• Engineer, configure, integrate, and optimize Cisco routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
• Provide expertise for Cisco Unified Communications and IP telephony including SIP/SRST survivability.
• Support TRR and GAT activities ensuring design maturity and security/compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and report installation, migration, and cutover activities.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN, wireless, routing, switching, and voice.
• Maintain documentation and turnover packages for sustainment and government acceptance.
• Mentor junior engineers and field teams on enterprise networking and secure deployments.

Education

Bachelors degree in a technology related field
