Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior MCAD Designer to lead CAD design and drafting for new product development. You will interpret design standards, military specs, and internal procedures while delivering precise 3D models and detailed drawings for complex assemblies.

The role requires Creo 4.0, Windchill 12.0, and strong GD&T knowledge. 4–7 years’ electro-mechanical design experience is expected; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years’ electro-mechanical design experience.
• Proficient with Creo 4.0 and Windchill 12.0.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerancing.
• Experience with 3D design layouts and manufacturing docs.
• Ability to interpret industry standards and military specs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D layouts and finish toleranced parts/assemblies.
• Produce manufacturing documentation per standards.
• Develop reusable part/feature library for the dept.
• Support ECN/AECN documentation and design reviews.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack-ups to ensure fit/function.
