Job summary

L3Harris Integrated Systems & Encryption team in Camden, NJ seeks a Drafter Des Mechanical / Mechanical Designer to develop complete mechanical enclosures and 3D routing for electronic equipment. You will work on layouts, BOMs, and assemblies, signing off designs and overseeing drafting accuracy.

The role requires Creo 8.0+ experience, GD&T and MBd proficiency, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. On-site schedule in Camden with 9/80 work pattern and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient with PTC Creo 8.0 or later.
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with MBd (Model Based Definition).
• 3D enclosure and mechanical design for electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical equipment and features for electronic gear.
• Prepare layouts, BOMs, and drawings per standards.
• Review drawings for drafting accuracy and participate in design reviews.
• Write and review engineering change notices as needed.
