Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to support advanced space and defense programs. The role focuses on MBSE, requirements development, and architecture definition, with leadership across engineering teams and close customer collaboration.

Responsibilities include driving system-level baselines, performing trade studies, and maintaining traceability. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years' experience, and an Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience on complex programs.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with MBSE and left-side V-model is essential.
• Hands-on MBSE tooling experience (Cameo, MagicDraw, EA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering efforts for complex systems and systems-of-systems.
• Drive left-side V-model activities: concept development, requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, and architecture definition.
• Develop and manage system-level technical baselines.
• Perform engineering trade studies and technical evaluations.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, architecture, interfaces, and verification.
