Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS) seeks a Principal Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the GMASS program.

You will model systems using MBSE tools, define interfaces and requirements, and coordinate with radar SMEs to ensure accurate, complete system representations. This role requires a STEM degree with senior-level experience or advanced degrees; interim DoD Secret clearance or higher; and familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline; five years of systems engineering experience, or Master’s/PhD.
• Interim DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORS, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Perform MBSE-based system modeling to define interfaces, requirements and behaviors.
• Support requirements analysis and functional allocation to hardware, software, and operator segments.
• Review SE documentation with radar SMEs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in engineering peer reviews to ensure quality and rigor.
• Interface with Customer to support scope and requirements definition and deliverables.
