Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to provide senior technical leadership in model-based systems engineering, requirements development, and architecture definition for a complex aerospace system.

The role uses Cameo to capture requirements, architectures, and interfaces across the program lifecycle. You will lead requirements and architecture development in Cameo, ensure the digital model reflects system requirements, and collaborate with chief engineers

Qualifications

US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance as required
8+ years of related engineering experience with MBSE
Hands-on experience using Cameo/MagicDraw for SysML modeling

Responsibilities

Lead requirements development, decomposition, allocation, and traceability within Cameo
Develop and maintain system architectures using SysML and MBSE methods
Integrate requirements, behaviors, interfaces, and constraints into a cohesive model
Coordinate architecture and requirements updates with multi-disciplinary teams
Generate model-based views and reports for technical reviews
Provide MBSE and Cameo guidance to engineers and teams
Collaborate with requirements and configuration management to baseline the Cameo model
