Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled MBSE Systems Engineer to translate engineering inputs into SysML models within SEM. You'll ensure adherence to MBSE guidelines and collaborate across contractors to maintain digital threads.

The role requires strong SysML expertise, Agile experience, and TS/SCI-eligible clearance. You will work with Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, and related tools in a Linux environment on-site.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in a technical or scientific field, or BS with 4 years related experience
• Minimum 4 years of Systems Engineering experience with MBSE tools
• Hands-on MBSE tools experience (Cameo, MagicDraw, Teamwork Cloud)
• Strong SysML syntax and ontology knowledge
• Experience with Agile frameworks and JIRA/Confluence
• Background in electrical, mechanical, software, or aerospace engineering
• Excellent collaboration and communication in cross-disciplinary teams
• Security Clearance: Top-Secret/SCI eligible; US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Translate domain engineer inputs into standardized SysML blocks and diagrams within SEM
• Adhere to DCM and MBSE guidelines and submit model changes via PRs
• Coordinate with DEL and contractors to map model elements to external design tools
• Participate in segment-level Agile sprints and align with LSEs and peers
• Develop and map digital test cases in Cameo to system requirements
• Embed reliability and maintainability math into SysML for live dashboards
• Prepare and review modeling diagrams for design reviews with stakeholders
• Maintain SEM configuration integrity, access control, and merges in Teamwork Cloud
