Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Model-Based Systems Engineer to support system-level architecture, requirements traceability, and governance for the FLRAA program.

This role is a core technical resource on a fast-paced development effort, coordinating across disciplines and DoD/MDA processes. The position emphasizes MBSE, requirements analysis, and system lifecycle governance, with onsite work and opportunities to influence critical design decisions within a major defense

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with MBSE and requirements traceability across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure requirements traceability from FLRAA Capability Description Document through baselines.
• Conduct requirements analysis and allocate across the specification tree.
• Review technical documentation, verification plans and reports.
• Support requirement trade studies and design reviews during development.
• Assist in identifying program risks and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate changes through FLRAA governing processes.
• Support development of SE Plan, contract packages, and milestone docs.
• Provide status updates on SE efforts to program leadership.
• Review MBSE deliverables with technical personnel to support milestones.
