Job summary

Leidos’ AEGIS program seeks a MAS Technical Engineer with 8+ years of Maximo experience and advanced Linux proficiency to lead MAS architecture and integration for NASA Enterprise operations.

You will architect and implement secure API management, configure MAS components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance MAS deployments across environments. U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling.
• Linux operating systems with scripting, system operations, and performance management.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• OpenShift container platform and MAS deployments.
• Maximo Mobile, SSO solutions, and MAF configuration.
• Automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Secure API management and authentication frameworks.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Lead technical design of enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards.
• Prepare and present project-related information to leadership and center teams.
• Develop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO authentication implementations.
• Manage and support MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Use Jira Service Management to track issues and requests.
