Senior Maximo Developer – Franklin Fitch
Franklin Fitch has partnered with an established enterprise technology team in SW Austin and is seeking an experienced Senior Maximo Developer to support the design, development, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Maximo EAM and related enterprise applications. This role plays a key part in delivering innovative software solutions, collaborating across diverse technical and business groups, and supporting mission‑critical systems.
Pay Range
DOE: $110,000 – $135,000
Location
Austin, TX 78703 – Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and implement IBM Maximo Application Suite solutions to support complex business requirements.
- Perform Maximo (Manage) and Maximo Mobile development, system administration, troubleshooting, and patch maintenance.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework.
- Create and maintain BIRT reports.
- Gather and document requirements and functional/technical specifications.
- Maintain existing software programs and provide tier‑3 application support.
- Plan and manage workload independently within a dynamic project team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to onboarding new tools and practices.
Requirements
- 9+ years of software development/programming experience (degree may substitute for some years of experience depending on relevance).
- Experience with IBM Maximo modules including Mobile Framework, Spatial, Service Provider, Scheduler, and Monitor.
- Automation Scripts and working with OSLC REST APIs experience.
- Strong knowledge of Maximo 7.x and MAS (Maximo Application Suite), including configuration, MIF, BIRT, Migration Manager, and related components.
- Experience customizing Maximo business components and Maximo add‑ons such as Spatial, Mobile, Service Provider, Scheduler, Monitor, and IBM MRO IO.
- Understanding of middleware/webservers, Oracle database environments, and Maximo data models.
- Experience with SSO, LDAP, SAML, and enterprise authentication setups.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Azure, GCP, AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Experience managing and developing REST APIs.
