Franklin Fitch is partnering with a leading public enterprise organization in Austin, TX to hire a Senior Maximo Developer. This is a high-impact role within a Solution Implementation team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise asset management solutions that serve critical infrastructure and community services across Texas.
As a Senior Maximo Developer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and related applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, innovative software solutions that support complex business requirements.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Schedule: Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and implement IBM Maximo Application Suite solutions.
- Perform development, administration, troubleshooting, and patching for Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile.
- Build and support integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Develop reports using BIRT.
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Maintain existing applications and provide Tier 3 support.
- Manage workload independently while collaborating within a larger project team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assist with onboarding new tools and platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience developing and programming software applications (or equivalent experience).
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field may substitute for some years of experience.
- Strong experience with IBM Maximo 7.x and Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Expertise in Maximo Mobile, Spatial, Service Provider, Scheduler, and Monitor modules.
- Experience with Automation Scripts, OSLC REST APIs, and MIF.
- Experience with BIRT reporting, Migration Manager, and Maximo Business Components.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases, middleware, and web servers.
- Experience with SSO, LDAP, and SAML configurations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- WebSphere administration in high-availability environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.
