Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. seeks a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager to lead testing and inspection of construction materials on diverse job sites. You will coordinate teams, ensure safety, and deliver data-driven reports to clients.

The role requires 5+ years in materials testing, strong leadership, and knowledge of ASTM/ACI/AASHTO standards. PE preferred but not mandatory; competitive salary and bonuses are offered. Based in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• Proven leadership skills and mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO testing methods.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage and lead a team of skilled technicians and inspectors, ensuring their training, development, and safety on-site.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee and conduct tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and more, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to schedule and coordinate testing activities.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with codes, regulations, and industry trends.
• Client Management: Cultivate relationships with clients and provide exceptional service.
