Job summary

You will mentor junior technicians, supervise testing workflows, and prepare detailed client reports while maintaining lab safety and quality standards. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership in a dynamic geotechnical environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, materials science, or related field; certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in construction materials testing with advanced testing techniques.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, Caltrans are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced testing on concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates per ASTM/AASHTO and other standards.
• Interpret test results and verify compliance with project specifications.
• Mentor and train junior technicians; provide leadership to the team.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing testing procedures, results, and recommendations; maintain data integrity and records.
