Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; college degree in business administration or equivalent preferred.
• Will consider previous experience and knowledge in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Materials Management experience in an acute care setting in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees directly or through supervisors and sets performance goals.
• Manages supply informatics system for optimal functionality and accuracy.
• Ensures monthly closings, daily activities, and annual inventory occur as scheduled.
• Develops and measures performance indicators for each department under Materials Management.
• Oversees HR processes, training, OSHA requirements and annual health assessments.
• Performs data analysis to improve Materials Management effectiveness and efficiency.
• Co-Chairs cost-saving initiatives and value analysis committees.
• Coordinates department meetings and attends required hospital governance meetings.
